When you purchase something from Ascendents.net, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Ascendents.net does not store credit card information. When surfing Ascendents.net, we also automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser, geographical location, and operating system to create the most enjoyable user experience.
Ascendents.net does not send out unsolicited marketing emails.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. Ascendents.net also implies that you consent for other more basic information, such login information. When web pages load, some less-sensitive data is collected automatically, such as interface settings.

Do you support the `Do Not Track` setting?
Ascendents.net does not store cookies or use any of your information to track you other than collecting current IP address' approximate (non-precise) geographic location. SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our service terms, including royalties terms or advertising terms.

SECTION 4a - ELAVON E-COMMERCE ACCOUNT/CONVERGE VIRTUAL MERCHANT

Ascendents.net, Inc.'s US Bank merchant account processes payments with the Converge Virtual Merchant by Elavon, Inc., who provides us with the online e-commerce payment processing platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. To process orders themselves, your payment information is encrypted and securely sent through Elavon's payment gateway. They store your transaction data on a secure server behind a firewall. Ascendents.net order invoices do not contain full payment information and are stored on our secure server.

Payment:
If you pay with a debit or credit card number and use the Elavon's Converge virtual merchant payment gateway system to complete your purchase, Elavon, Inc. stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Elavon, Inc. will retain your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in their Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 4b - PAYPAL PAYMENTS

When payments are procesed by PayPal, your sensitive payment information remains on PayPal's secure server, the only information we receive is the confirmation that the money was paid, which is stored on our secure server with the rest of your order's/invoice's data.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us (e.g. Google Analytics). However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. They are used to store your video player interface settings and determine if your account already has access to the site. Ascendents.net, Inc. does not use cookies that capture unencrypted personal information about you.
